Chris Sloan, the author and curator of Airchive.
By day I own a television /
internet production company, 2C Media,
based in Miami Beach, Florida. By nights and weekends, I am an airline
aficionado. I have followed every facet of the airline and commercial
aircraft industry since I was young enough to get plane sick. After many
years, I began collecting again in 1994. I have an extensive collection
of maps, timetables, models, paraphernalia, china, glasses, and even a
desk made from the wing of the L1011 prototype. I have derived so much
enjoyment from my collection and from surfing many of the excellent sites
out there that I decided to share some of it with the Planespotting World.
One day, I aspire to start a museum that even R.E.G. Davies would be proud
of. In the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy my "Webseum". I'd appreciate
any feedback and/or corrections you can provide. I have tried to be as
factual as possible with the information and photos.
