| 1973 L-1011 Tri Star
Brochure TWA, along with Eastern, was the launch customer for the L-1011. TWA operated the Tri-Stars on transcon and low density European routes. The TriStars served the airline faithfully until the last was retired in September 1996, replaced by 767s and 757s. This brochure features the Tri-Star in the wonderful Raymond Loewy 1963 colors. In mid 74, a new scheme would be introduced. |
