Before 9/11, it was still possible to rent simulators just for the fun of
it. NATCO, located adjacent to Northwest in Eden Prarie, MN offered its
sims for rentals. |

The year 2000 was the pinnacle of ATA. By 2005, the airline had spun off
its Chicago Midway hub, began withdrawing service from its Indianapolis
foretress, and was a shadow of its former self. |

Mid Pacific was a short lived competitor to Aloha and Hawaiian on the intra-island
routes flying NAMC YS-100 turboprops, inherited from Piedmont. These gave
way to BAC 1-11s. |

1960 - New York Airways
New York Airways operated Boeing Vertol passenger helicopters between
Manhattan, the suburbs, and the New York are operators until 1979. The
service operated from the Pan American building from 1962 until its demise.
With the gridlock of today, it's a wonder that an airline like New York
Airways isn't operating today. |

in the 1980s. |
