Hamburg Airport
Hamburg, Germany boasts a remarkably user friendly and efficient, new terminal. These images were taken in January 2003. Hamburg has 2 great features for airline aficionados:
A massive, scale model of the entire airport as extensive as the one at Hong Kong Kai Tak (seen elsewhere in this site) and an observation deck in the new terminal. Both were closed temporarily when I was passing through.
Ramp
A busy ramp on a snowbound day with a 2 737s, an A-320 and a Dash 8 dealing with poor weather conditions.
Aeroflot TU-154M
Despite the arrival of 737-400s, 767s, and 777-200s, Aeroflot still operates TU-154s on some flights to Moscow and St Petersburg from Western Europe. This example was leaving for Moscow as my flight taxied to London.
Turkish 737
Owing to a large Turkish population in Hamburg and leisure travel, Turkish Airlines operates extensive flights to Turkey.
