Oklahoma City Will Rogers International Airport
Oklahoma City's airport is named after famed Oklahoma entertainer Will Rogers. The Airport's traffic is a typical mix of regionals and mainline carriers servicing their respective hubs. The 1966 era terminal is undergoing a major reconstruction with new piers and a ticketing hall which are quite modern and immpressive. OKC's airport is noteworthy in 4 respects: It is a major base for FAA flight control training and aircraft registration, a major scrapping facility, the home of the U.S. Federal Prison transportation facility aka "Con-Air", and was the original headquarters of Braniff Airlines until 1942. The image above is an artists conception of the finished terminal.

Ticketing Hall
The ticketing hall is undergoing a complete transformation due to be completed in late 2004. Interstingly a new facade and raised ceilings are being built surrounding and above the existing facility while it is still in use.

New Concourse B Interior
This is the interior of the much improved, much roomier Concorse A which replaced an older structure (see below) and a very small commuter facility.
Old Concourse C
This concourse is in its final days, being replaced by a structure like the one above. Southwest is the main user of the old facility.

OKC's terminal and concourses remained unchanged until a full renovation master plan began in 2001. 2 of the 3 concourses have been raised and replaced, while the 3rd is being demolished now. The main ticketing hall is also undergoing major reconstruction. When complete, the airport will be unrecognizable from these shots.
