6, 1996 Western Pacific operated from 1994-98 initially from Colorado Springs Airport. The airline pioneered the “logojet” concept now adopted the worldover. |

| June 25, 1997 Western Pacific discontinued the “logojets” in 1997 in favor a more business like image. The airline’s hub shifted to Denver into face to face competition with Frontier. The incumbent won the battle and “WestPac” was a colorful footnote in history by 1998. |
