These terms govern access to Airchive's public archive, editorial content, live forum, and moderated contribution tools.

Using Airchive
Airchive is provided as a public aviation archive, editorial product, and community reference surface. You may browse, link to, and cite the site for lawful purposes. You may not use the site in a way that damages availability, bypasses security controls, scrapes protected surfaces in a disruptive way, or republishes material in a misleading manner.
Archive and editorial integrity
Airchive combines original reporting, reference copy, historical context, and curated archive material. It is not a substitute for manufacturer manuals, regulator publications, maintenance data, operational dispatch material, or legal advice. If you rely on technical or operational information, you must verify it against primary sources.
Forum participation and submissions
Airchive now operates a live forum and a moderated contribution intake. Users must submit material they have the right to share and must follow the published community rules. Airchive may moderate, remove, edit for clarity, or refuse submissions that are unlawful, unsafe, abusive, infringing, misleading, or off-topic.
Contribution workflows may require rights confirmations, attachment review, and source checks. Forum participation may also involve rate limits, account restrictions, or moderator action where needed to protect the archive and the community.
Ownership and permitted reuse
Unless otherwise stated, Airchive owns or licenses the site design, original copy, datasets, page structure, and curation. Brand names, aircraft marks, airline marks, and third-party media remain the property of their respective owners.
You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the relevant page. You may not copy substantial portions of the site, mirror the archive as your own, or remove context that changes the meaning of an Airchive page.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Airchive does not promise that every page is error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Aviation history, fleet status, and operator relationships can change quickly, and archived material may reflect the state of the world when it was first published.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Airchive is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from the use of the site, reliance on non-primary-source material, or inability to access the service.
Changes to the service and terms
Airchive may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they become the governing baseline for newly launched features or revised community workflows.
